Thrust bearing used in all SnoWizard
® machines built before 1983. This bearing consists of three pieces; two outer races, and the ball-bearings inner ring. The bearing requires regular cleaning and re-greasing every two weeks. The spaces between the balls must be packed with foodservice grease. It is used only with the carbon steel shaft that is in pre-1983 machines (Item No. SHAFTCS, which is not orderable through our website). The photo shows the bearing separated into its three parts and also how it appears when put together.
